The 3-Day Masterclass is KSTI's comprehensive KAT Master Certification program for licensed beauty professionals committed to specializing in Korean scalp therapy. Gain comprehensive mastery of all seven Korean Authentic Technique (KAT) techniques, advanced scalp analysis, and complete business systems.
Schedule: 3 consecutive days, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM daily.
Each class is limited to just 2 students, with live models and individualized coaching, so you leave ready to offer a 90-minute signature headspa service. Master graduates earn dual certification from both KSTI and KSPA.
An active esthetics, cosmetology, massage therapy, or equivalent license is required to enroll.

Day 1 — Foundation & Strategy: Korean headspa philosophy, advanced scalp analysis, treatment planning, business setup and an introduction to all 7 KAT techniques.
Day 2 — Technical Mastery: hands-on practice of techniques T1-T7, the 90-minute service protocol and signature KAT rituals.
Day 3 — Business Launch: marketing and social media, intake forms and service protocols, sanitation standards and a final service demonstration.

No prior headspa experience is required. The KSTI Master program is a comprehensive certification designed to take you from beginner to expert over three days, regardless of prior scalp therapy background. The program includes all foundational techniques plus advanced methods and extensive business training. As long as you hold an active professional license in esthetics, cosmetology, massage therapy, or an equivalent beauty/wellness credential, you're qualified to enroll. The training is structured to build your skills progressively, with hands-on practice and personalized instruction throughout.
Most KSTI Master graduates begin offering services within 2-3 weeks of training. The timeline depends primarily on how quickly you can source products and set up your treatment space. Equipment needs are minimal—many estheticians already own suitable tools. We provide a complete recommended supplier list and setup guide. The main preparation involves ordering products and equipment, setting up your treatment room, and booking initial clients. You'll have all the technical knowledge and confidence needed immediately after certification; the short delay is simply logistics. We'll provide you with exclusive discounts during your training program.

KSTI certification is valid for life—there is no expiration date and no mandatory recertification requirement. Once certified, you are permanently authorized to use the KAT Master designation and offer Korean headspa services using our methodology. However, we strongly encourage ongoing education and skill development. Master graduates receive discounts at future courses and early access to new training content. While not required, many practitioners choose to attend refreshers every 1-2 years to stay current with technique refinements, new rituals, and evolving business strategies. Your certification credentials remain valid regardless of how often you practice, though maintaining active licensure in your state is required to legally offer services.
